Proposal Submission

The deadline to submit a proposal to present at IETC 2017 was Monday, June 5.  Proposals will be reviewed and selection status will be shared in mid-June.

Presenter Benefits:

  • Breakout Session and Poster Session Benefits: Conference registration fees for both the Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17 conference days will be waived for the lead presenter and one co-presenter, if applicable. Continental breakfasts and keynote luncheons are included.
  • Full-Day Workshop Benefits: A stipend, hotel room, and waived conference registration fees for both the Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17 conference days will be provided for the lead presenter. Continental breakfasts and lunches are included.

Presenter Requirements

Handouts

Each presenter is expected to provide an electronic copy of his/her handout and/or presentation in advance. These will be posted on the IETC website with all rights reserved to the author.

Registration

All presenters and co-presenters must register online and will receive complimentary General Conference day registration. Details on how to register as an IETC 2017 presenter will be shared with presenters this summer.

Housing

Housing is not included in the conference registration process. Rooms fill up quickly, so make your reservation as early as possible.

About the Selection Process

Individuals representing all academic disciplines and levels in the educational system and all phases of technology education are welcome to submit proposals. Sessions will be chosen based on their interest to convention attendees and relevance to current trends and best practices.

All proposals will be carefully reviewed and selected by the IETC committee. Applicants will receive acceptance or regret notifications in mid-June, 2017.
