Types of Presentations

  • Workshop: Full Day or Half Day. Wednesday, Nov. 13 only.
  • Concurrent Sessions: (60 Minutes): The workhorse of our conference is a standard session from a single speaker or group of speakers in a traditional presentation style.
  • Lively Discussions (60 Minutes): These talks are intended to include a brief presentation or statement introduced by the speaker followed by vigorous and lively discussion and Q&A from the audience! We encourage presenters to limit or eliminate PowerPoint slides and focus on audience involvement. Presenters should design questions which will encourage participation and be ready to have a blast!
  • Stopwatch Sessions (6 Minutes, 45 Seconds): Moderated by a timekeeper and presented in only 6 minutes and 45 seconds each, these succinct sessions are scheduled during a concurrent session timeslot with 6 presentations back to back.
  • Stop By and Chat Session (90 Minutes): A traditional poster session with a twist. Before or after your poster session, if you choose, we will spotlight your incredible work on a syndicated podcast.
