The 16th Annual Illinois Education & Technology Conference (IETC), being held at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Hotel, is an exciting opportunity which will offer those interested in improving the quality of education in Illinois, an opportunity to gain information and exchange ideas on the application of educational technology in our schools.
Who should attend?
Teachers, Technology Coordinators, Administrators, Curriculum Specialists, Media Specialists, Special Education Instructors, School Technical Staff, Business Managers, Community Leaders, and Legislators -- Anyone interested educational technology!
First time attending the conference?
Welcome!! Stop by the Western Illinois University booth in the Exhibit Hall either Wednesday evening between 6-8pm or Thursday between 7:30am-5:15pm. There, you may ask questions you have about the conference, pick up a newcomer ribbon and acquire information about the city of Springfield.
Highlights
- Wed., Nov. 18: Exhibit Hall open/reception in the evening. (Free to all Thursday and/or Friday registrants.)
- Thursday, Nov. 19: Exhibit Hall open, 85+ concurrent sessions offered, poster sessions displayed, keynote luncheon, evening reception with prize drawing.
- Friday, Nov. 20: 60+ concurrent sessions offered, keynote luncheon with prize drawing.

- Many hands-on lab sessions offered. Several sessions are web-based so bring your own laptop to join in!
- All session attendance on first-come, first-served basis. No need to register for individual sessions.
- Luncheon keynote addresses included with registration Thursday and Friday, Nov. 19-20.
- CPDU's available for full-day conference participation.
